About Us

Association of Indo Americans (AIA) is a non-profit organization which provides a forum to explore the rich and articleerse heritage of the Indian American community living in the United States. The mission of AIA is to foster and promote cultural and social interactions among the members,facilitate cultural events and educational programs pertaining to the Indian subcontinent, celebrate the articleerse cultural heritage of the Indian subcontinent and shares this rich culture with the community we now call home, USA. AIA also strives to provide support services to members of the Indian American community in the USA.

AIA promotes creative freedom to all communities that identify with India and the Indian diaspora. We want to encourage healthy competition to push creative limits in all aspects that speak of our culture including Indo-american culture. We will strive to do this in the most utopian way possible to create a safe, environment for everyone whose intention it is to promote creative cultural advancements of this community in a selfless and sustaining manner. We will pledge to bring all corners of our community to reflect the true colors of our vibrant culture.

Rath Yatra

Maha Mangal Aarti

The arti (pronounced ‘aarti’) is one of the most important and popular ceremonies of the Hindu faith. It is a prayerful ceremony performed in extolled greeting and thanksgiving of the Deities where devotees are reminded of God’s glorious presence and providence. Along with regular Arti, Dussehra Diwali Dhamaka will also feature Maha Mangal Aarti.
